Its red fluorescing properties demonstrates its relationship to Green Fluorescent Protein. mCherry is stable and resistant to photobleaching, with peak absorption at 587 nm, as well as a peak emission of 610 nm.|

We submitted our mCherry-Tag antibody (ST34373) to an independent facility for validation testing. The testing, carried out by Science Exchange, confirmed that STJ34373 demonstrated specificity for mCherry under Western Blot analysis, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence.
